BP Eric Adams tells Eagle that no open admission at Brooklyn Navy Yard debate is a ‘mistake’
In light of recent news that the Democratic presidential primary debate on Thursday between Sen. Bernie Sanders and former Secretary of State Hillary Clinton at the Brooklyn Navy Yard will be closed to the public, the Brooklyn Eagle spoke to Brooklyn Borough President Eric Adams about his opinion on the decision.
The Eagle first reported on Monday that a spokesman from CNN confirmed that tickets for the debate would not be available to the general public.
Vice President of Duggal Global Events Group Mary Lovci also confirmed with the Eagle on Monday that the event will not be open to the public. Lovci said that CNN is responsible for all issuing of tickets to guests.
