Lissette Morales named court Employee of the Year
Lissette Morales was named Employee of the Year by the New York State Supreme Court, Second Judicial Department during a special ceremony at the supreme court in Downtown Brooklyn on Friday.
“We are here today to honor one of the truly unsung heroes of the court — Lissette Morales,” proclaimed Justice Laura Jacobson, the chair of the Employee of the Year Committee. “She is one of the kindest and most industrious workers in this courthouse and is the mother to three terrific children.”
Morales is the law secretary to Jacobson and she also contributes to many different court-related organizations, including the Cervantes Society, the Secretary’s Association and the Bring Your Child to Work Day Committee. She also helps out with the National Association of Women Judge’s Women in Prison Committee.
