In celebration of The Global Goals for Sustainable Development, St. Francis College students, faculty and administrators came together to make a video showing which #globalgoals they support.

Last September, the United Nations put forward 17 global goals that are intended to help transform the world into a more sustainable place. Goals featured in the video include ideas such as no poverty, gender equality, decent work and economic growth and life below water.

As both a Franciscan institution dedicated to ‘care for creation’ and a member of a worldwide United Nations Sustainable Development Solutions Network, St. Francis College is a strong supporter of these goals,” said Management Professor and Director of the Honors Program John Dilyard, who coordinated the project with Adjunct Professor and Director of Media relations Richard Relkin. “By posing with specific goals that have special meaning to them, members of the College community are demonstrating their commitment to this important effort.”

A number of student groups took part in the project, including the Environmental Club, Healthy Habits, LGBTQ Club and Model United Nations, as well as individual professors and administrative departments like Facilities.
