Residents can seek help with any civil legal issues they’re facing, including problems with Medicaid, Medicare and other public assistance programs, according to Harris’ office. Counsel provided by NYLAG attorneys is free and confidential.

Residents are advised to bring with them all relevant documents and paperwork pertaining to their legal issues.

“I’m thrilled to be working with NYLAG to deliver a critical resource for my constituents,” Harris said in a statement. “Everyone has the right to sound legal advice regardless of income or the ability to pay. Through this free service, I hope residents can achieve a better peace of mind knowing that help is available to overcome challenges and come up with solutions.”

For more information, call Harris’ office at 347-560-6302. To schedule an appointment with a NYLAG attorney, visit https://mobilelegalhelpcenter.acuityscheduling.com/.
