For a few hours on Thursday, it was spring in January.

DUMBO’s denizens took full advantage of the 61-degree temperature with loooong lunch hours at Brooklyn Bridge Park.

They took selfies along the shoreline and sat on stone steps beneath the Manhattan Bridge to Watch The River Flow, to borrow a phrase from a famous Bob Dylan song.

Joggers wearing shorts ran past them.

Moms and nannies took little kids to ride Jane’s Carousel.

At the East River Ferry pier, tourists ate ice cream cones and snapped photos of the World Trade Center and the Brooklyn Bridge.

Brooklynites who could get outdoors Thursday were wise to do so. The weather’s going to be more winter-like on Friday.
