This time of year, it's oh so cold out on the East River, but oh so scenic.
The other day, we visited North Brooklyn's four ferry stops and couldn't figure out why nobody else sat on the open deck of the boat with us.
Who cares about a little frostbite when you have the opportunity to photograph beloved bridges and iconic Manhattan skyscrapers?
When we disembarked at the ferry stops and strolled along the surrounding streets, there was so much to see. This is a sampling of some of the photos we couldn't fit into the other story about our aquatic adventure.
