Colonial Club of Bay Ridge holds Spring Fling
On Thursday,, the Colonial Club of Bay Ridge held its much-anticipated annual spring fling. Every year, the club selects a top restaurant in the borough or beyond and invites its members to attend. This year, the club decided to stay closer to home and have their fling at Chadwick’s Restaurant at 8822 Third Ave.
The Colonial Club strives to offer insightful and engaging talks about community events and issues that pertain to its devoted membership. The club is comprised of community leaders and professionals, including bankers, doctors, realtors and insurance agents, among others. The meetings also serve to inform members of upcoming neighborhood events.
Among the attendees were club President Patricia Clayton, Vice-President Brian Chin, Treasurer Dino Lamia and Secretary Jim Clark. Board member Peter Killen welcomed the members and their guests. John Quaglione, deputy chief of staff to State Sen. Marty Golden, and a City Council candidate for the 43rd Council District, also attended the event and addressed the club members.
