Judge Garaufis honored for outstanding service to federal courts
The Eastern District of New York of the Federal Bar Association (FBA) and the Southern District Chapter, the Bankruptcy Law, and Securities Law sections of the FBA, held a program on the intersection of bankruptcy and securities laws at the U.S. District Courthouse for the EDNY on Tuesday, March 28.
Following the program, Hon. Nicholas G. Garaufis was presented with the Award for Excellence in Jurisprudence by Hon. Ramon E. Reyes Jr. in recognition for his outstanding service to the federal courts and specifically contributions in the area of securities law.
