Bay Ridge plays host to 150th Brooklyn Memorial Day Parade
A retired U.S. Marine and a Korean War veteran will both proudly lead the way as hundreds of veterans and supporters of the military march up Third Avenue in Bay Ridge for the 150th Kings County Memorial Day Parade.
Lt. Gen. John A. Toolan and Korean War veteran Prisco De Angelis are the two grand marshals of the parade, which will take place on Memorial Day, Monday, May 29, starting at 11 a.m.
The deputy grand marshals are Councilmember Vincent Gentile (D-Bay Ridge-Dyker Heights-Bensonhurst) and two World War II veterans, Roy and Jack Vanasco.
