A Bay Ridge exhibition that opened back on Earth Day in April is still going strong, but art lovers will have to hurry if they want to enjoy the show. It closes on May 31.

The art show, which features paintings, drawings and sculpture, is currently on display at the Coop, a restaurant at 9504 Fourth Ave. The Coop is open Sunday to Thursday from 7 a.m. to 7 p.m. and Friday and Saturday from 7 a.m. to 8 p.m.

“It’s a wonderful exhibition,” curator and artist Neddi Heller told the Brooklyn Eagle. “The artists were inspired by the earth and created bold works that express the importance of preserving the environment.”

The artists include Victoria Barber, John Grillo, Ursula Clark, Mike Deutsch, Kyle and Ryan Moslin, Mark Kirk, Fran Kornfeld, Naomi Teppich, Cheyenne Timperio and Neddi Heller.

Clark’s art work, a sculpture of a butterfly cocoon that hangs over the tables in the dining area, has attracted a great deal of praise for its boldness.

The exhibition opening featured readings of poems and essays by Aviva Rahmani, Steve Dalachinsky, Yuko Otomo and Nathan Storring and music by Peter Gomez.
