A Sunset Park shooter was convicted Tuesday for murder of a 68-year-old man after a 20-year family dispute in China left him seeking vengeance.

Wu Long Chen, 46, was convicted of second-degree murder and second-degree possession of a firearm after a jury trial before Judge Neil Firetog at Brooklyn Supreme Court.

Chen, a Chinese military veteran, tailed Ying Guan Chen down Sixth Avenue in Sunset Park after a Dec. 7, 2015 wedding and shot him in cold blood three times, going for another shot to the head before his gun jammed.

The victim rushed into a nearby Popeyes restaurant, leaving his blood on the door handle before he died at Lutheran Medical Center.

“I shot him three times, Chen said on video when he was found in Texas, escaping to Mexico. “I held a grudge for revenge.”

The feud started when the sons of the victim allegedly attacked Chen’s siblings more than 20 years ago in China. While the victim made no direct harm to Chen’s family, Chen reportedly sought revenge in any way he could.

“He was seeking retribution,” detective on the case, Kevin McDonough, said.

“This defendant held a grudge for more than 20 years and used deadly violence to settle a score,” Acting Brooklyn District Attorney Eric Gonzalez said. “A dispute that should have ended in a village in China instead resulted in gunshots on the streets of Brooklyn.”

Chen and his target were attending a wedding at the Golden Imperial Palace at 618 Sixth Ave. in Sunset Park.

Video surveillance showed Chen waiting behind cars in the parking lot and emerging from the shadows when his victim left the catering hall. Chen followed the man down Sixth Avenue to Seventh Avenue and up to 61st Street before he pulled out his gun and shot the 68-year-old man in the head, chest and forearm.

Chen attempted to flee to Mexico to grab a flight to China, but was caught in Loredo, Texas on Dec. 31, 2015.

He faces a maximum of up to 25 years when he is sentenced on July 17.
