Attorney for kid involved with Gotti bank heist says he ‘got dragged in’
A 22-year-old man pleaded guilty Friday to robbing a federal bank five years ago with two mobsters, allegedly including John J. Gotti, the grandson of John “The Dapper Don” Gotti.
Michael Guidici, who was 17 at the time of the alleged incident, walked into Maspeth Federal Savings and Loan Association and handed the teller a note that read, “I HAVE A BOMB.” She then handed over $5,491 and Guidici allegedly fled with Gotti and Matthew Rullan, who were waiting outside the bank on April 18, 2012.
The teller was Gotti’s girlfriend who was in on the scheme and allegedly provided the trio with information on how they could rob the bank, according to a court letter by prosecutors.
