ROMANIA — Sculpture Exhibit Opens: In this Wednesday photo, artist Catalin Badarau is obscured by one of his works during an interview with the Associated Press in Bucharest. The art exhibition showcases 11 sculptures, which aims to remind visitors about the horrors that took place at Southern Romania’s Pitesti Prison from 1949 to 1951, where communists tortured and killed political prisoners in a gruesome re-education program. The exhibit opened to the public on Friday.
