The next time you feel the urge to photograph the handsome new Kosciuszko Bridge, tap that Uber app.

Or hire a boat.

Walking around Greenpoint looking for a good vantage point to snap shots of the new bridge, which opened this past spring, is a frustrating experience. You can’t get very close, and there’s lots of stuff in the way.

Maybe a camera with a really good telephoto lens yields satisfactory pix. If you’ve found this is the case, please post a comment to let us know.

The other day — actually we tried on two successive days — we stalked up and down numerous streets near Newtown Creek. We tried taking photos in all kinds of places — from the Greenpoint Avenue Bridge to Cherry Street, which is right alongside a Kosciuszko Bridge entrance ramp.

These are the best photos we managed to take.
