A pair of local bar associations — the Brooklyn Women’s Bar Association and the Bay Ridge Lawyers Association — was in Coney Island over the weekend spending time with each other away from the courtroom.

The Bay Ridge Lawyers Association (BRLA) went to the final Brooklyn Cyclones game of the year on Thursday and got to watch Noah Syndergaard make a rehab appearance. It’s an annual tradition that gave Margaret Stanton a fun event to start off her year as president.

The Brooklyn Women’s Bar Association (BWBA) took a walking tour with the Coney Island History Project on Sunday to learn the “secret history of women” on the island. Afterward, the group went for hot dogs at Nathan’s.
