A Brooklyn man was sentenced to 25 years in prison Thursday for nearly decapitating his landlord with a samurai sword before trying to flee the country.

Supreme Court Justice Neil Firetog sentenced a stone-faced Rasel Siddiquee to the more than two-decade prison term in about five minutes, after Siddiquee pleaded guilty to manslaughter earlier this month.

The widow of Siddiquee’s victim burst into tears as Siddiquee was escorted into the Brooklyn Supreme Courtroom.

Siddiquee got into an argument with his landlord, Mahiuddin Mahmud, 57, about a Pedicab license that came in the mail and sliced his neck and throat multiple times on Jan. 6, 2014, according to court documents.

Relatives found Mahmud nearly decapitated and partially burned in the basement of the building at 546 McDonald Ave. in Kensington, according to a criminal complaint.

While nobody made statements during the sentencing, Mahmud’s widow Afroza Begum sat and wailed in the court halls as her family comforted her.

“I’m never getting him back!” Begum repeatedly screamed behind tears. “This is not the reason to kill him!”

Siddiquee was caught while trying to leave the country to Bangladesh at JFK International Airport two days after the murder.

He confessed to police that he struck Mahmud multiple times in the neck and throat with a sword and stole money from his safe, according to the complaint.

“This defendant caused a tragic and completely senseless death, taking the life of a beloved businessman and a father of three,” Acting Brooklyn DA Eric Gonzalez said in a statement. “He will now serve a very long prison sentence for his brutal and violent conduct.”

Mahmud’s wife hung onto her sons as she stumbled to leave the courthouse.
