Witches’ ceremony against Kavanaugh draws supporters, protesters in Bushwick
A group of witches and their sympathizers who were putting a hex on new U.S. Supreme Court Justice Brett Kavanaugh at a Bushwick occult shop drew a group of Christian protesters on Saturday.
The hex was hosted by Catland at 987 Flushing Ave., which sells spiritual literature, healing crystals, tarot cards, incense and similar items.
Outside the storefront, the ritual was guarded by a row of people clad in black bandanas and red pins, the unofficial uniform of the ultra-left antifa group.
