Park Slope Trump statuette carries an invitation: Pee on me
Late last week, Park Slope residents noticed a new fixture on their neighborhood sidewalk: a statuette of Donald Trump resting on top of a patch of astroturf, with a bright yellow sticker reading, “pee on me.”
The statuette, rising to just about the height of a dog’s genitals, is the brainchild of Phil Gable of Porcupine Armadillo, a brand content studio. Gable told Gothamist that the bust was “partly a public service,” a creation to aid potty-training (he sprayed the figure with a dog potty-training aid mixture to maximize appeal) while simultaneously acting as “a personal expression of [his] own disdain for Donald Trump.”
A woman and her daughter who passed by as Gable was setting up the small display took pictures with the bust, thanking Gable and saying, “This is the kind of thing that makes me love Brooklyn.”
