Crown Heights man killed outside Prospect Heights restaurant

Police have released surveillance video of a Friday night shooting that left at 27-year-old man dead.

On Friday night, Kevin Virgo got into a verbal dispute with a group of men inside of Atlantic Boat Club that spilled out onto Atlantic Avenue, WABC-7 reported.

Virgo, 27, was shot in the chest before the group fled, police said.

The Crown Heights man was defending a waitress who was getting harassed, the victim’s family told the New York Daily News.

Police released video surveillance from the crime scene with hopes the public can assist with finding the gunmen.
