Protect and serve? More like protect and swerve. Two off-duty city employees, normally charged with keeping the public safe, were arrested for allegedly driving drunk in Queens and Brooklyn, according to police.

Early Sunday morning, Harry Sepulveda was seen driving a 2017 Chevy Traverse down a one-way street in the wrong direction and crash into a parked car on Wythe Avenue.

When police arrived at the Williamsburg scene, Sepulveda refused to submit to a breathalyzer test, but reeked of alcohol and was not steady on his feet, according to the criminal complaint.

Sepulveda, 31, who earned over $111,000 this year according to public records, was arraigned by Judge Adam Perlmutter on Sunday night and released on his own recognizance.

If convicted, Sepulveda faces hundreds of dollars in fines for four traffic infractions including driving while intoxicated and failure to obey a traffic device.

On Monday morning, Firefighter Michael Weber was arrested for driving while intoxicated and refusing to take a breathalyzer in the 111th Precinct vicinity that covers Bayside, Douglaston, Little Neck, Auburndale, Hollis Hills and Fresh Meadows.

Weber, 27, was awaiting arraignment in Queens Criminal Court as of press time.
