Police officer and firefighter arrested for drunk driving
Protect and serve? More like protect and swerve. Two off-duty city employees, normally charged with keeping the public safe, were arrested for allegedly driving drunk in Queens and Brooklyn, according to police.
Early Sunday morning, Harry Sepulveda was seen driving a 2017 Chevy Traverse down a one-way street in the wrong direction and crash into a parked car on Wythe Avenue.
When police arrived at the Williamsburg scene, Sepulveda refused to submit to a breathalyzer test, but reeked of alcohol and was not steady on his feet, according to the criminal complaint.
