NYPD’s Hunt and Condon honored by Montague St. BID in Brooklyn Heights
84th Precinct Crime Figures ‘Looking Good’ with a Few Exceptions
The Montague Street Business Improvement District (BID) honored 84th Precinct Neighborhood Coordination Officers (NCOs) Donovan Hunt (left) and John Condon at their annual membership meeting on Thursday for “the amazing job” they do on Montague Street. As NCOs for Brooklyn Heights and Cobble Hill, Hunt and Condon directly connect to local residents and businesses to solve problems.
“It’s always been a gratifying thing to work with you guys and solve problems in the community,” Officer Hunt said. “When you call us it doesn’t necessarily have to end with the arrest of somebody. We’ll connect you with another agency to get the problem solved that way. Don’t hesitate to call us.”
Officer Condon has worked in the area for years. “The residents, the shop owners, the BID — it’s been a great experience,” he said.
