Coney Island gallery on exhibit at Brooklyn’s Federal Court now through Sept. 28
The U.S. District Court for the Eastern District of New York is located in Downtown Brooklyn and despite the fact that the courthouse looks like a fortress on the outside, it is open to the public and features an art gallery, known as the Charles P. Sifton Gallery, located toward the back of the entrance lobby.
Currently on display at the courthouse is “Greetings from Coney Island,” a photo exhibit that features all of the drama of Coney Island including the roller coasters, the beach and the oceans and, of course, the people and their style.
The exhibit features the work of 28 photographers who have documented “America’s Playground” over the years.
