Good news for the mimosa-adverse: You can now have beer for breakfast. Matt McCall of Coney Island Brewing has introduced an array of cereal-inspired beers, from Count Flocula, a Kolsch-style ale aged on cocoa nibs, to Blueberry Boo-Liner, a Berliner Weisse-style ale with notes of marshmallow and aged on blueberry puree. The newest additions to Coney Island Brewing’s repertoire will be available at this Saturday’s Freaktoberfest, an Oktoberfest-meets-Coney-Island event hosted by the company with beer tastings and a nighttime screening of Dracula.

Freaktoberfest is scheduled to be held at the Coney Island Brewing headquarters, at 1904 Surf Ave., with the tasting running from 12 p.m. to 3 p.m. Dracula is slated to start at 8.p.m.
