6,000 pounds of matzah donated to charity

The big delivery

Brooklyn Daily Eagle

Preparing for Passover, which begins next week, Kars4kids, a New Jersey-based car-donation organization whose proceeds benefit Jewish charities, just donated 6,000 pounds of matzah to the Jewish Metropolitan Council on Jewish Poverty’s distribution center in Brooklyn. The group provides free towing for those people wish to donate their old “clunkers,” which, believe it or not, are valuable for their parts and material even if the cars themselves have stopped running.
