This is an actual street sign

The city wants you to pull your pants up

Brooklyn Daily Eagle

This sign, making fun of the fashion in which some young men let their pants droop to show off their underwear, was seen in DUMBO near the Pearl Street triangle on Friday. These signs, ascribed to the mythical Metropolitan Etiquette Authority, were originated by artist Jason Shelowitz, according to online sources.  Three years ago, Brooklyn State Sen. Eric Adams started his own advertising campaign with a similar mission: “Stop the Sag.”
