ASK THE DA: Help District Attorney Hynes stop bullying: Anti-bullying contest is open
If you are a student in grades four through nine and attend school in Brooklyn, here is your chance to show the world how creative and talented you are. Enter your video in the Third Annual Legal Lives Anti-Bullying Video Contest and compete for the First Place Prize!
The student or class who submits the winning video will be introduced at a press conference where their video will be shown to members of the media.
The deadline for all video submissions is Tuesday, April 30. Students are encouraged to submit their videos as soon as possible. Don’t delay and miss out on this unique opportunity to help address the serious topic of bullying.
The goal of the contest is to raise the consciousness of not only students, but teachers, administrators and parents to the reality of bullying and how each of them has to take a stand and be a part of solving this problem. If more young people stood up against bullying, then the phenomenon would likely diminish over time.
