Bay Ridge Toyota To Hire ‘Heroes’

BAY RIDGE — Bay Ridge Toyota, 6401 Sixth Ave., is celebrating its 41st year of serving the community by participating in a “Hire Our Heroes” program, according to Social Media and Web Manager Joe Ciaccia.

Designed to help veterans returning from service find work, the program involves Bay Ridge Toyota making a special effort to accept resumes and interview local war heroes. The car dealership will be looking to hire 10 to 12 employees, Ciaccia said.

Bay Ridge Toyota has enjoyed much success while simultaneously creating lasting relationships with its neighbors, Ciaccia said.

In 2009, the dealership started a giving back/charity program to show its gratitude for all of the support. In 2011 alone, Bay Ridge Toyota donated more than $50,000 to people in need.
