Brooklyn Borough Hall bathed in green to honor victims of Boston Marathon bomb

Brooklyn Borough President Marty Markowitz said on Tuesday that Borough Hall, in Downtown Brooklyn, would be bathed in green lights all week to commemorate the victims of Monday’s bombing in Boston.
“Brooklyn’s thoughts and prayers are with the city of Boston and all of those who were killed or injured by the bombings at the Boston Marathon, and tonight we will light Borough Hall green in honor of all the victims and their families,” Markowitz said in a statement.
Markowitz said those to blame “must be made an example of and evil doers the world over made to realize that any action against the American people will be met with swift, systematic punishment.”
