Authorities say a passenger stabbed a New York City bus driver.
The victim's mother told Fox 5 News that the passenger used a hypodermic needle.
It happened Monday morning in Brooklyn on the B68 bus to Coney Island.
The passenger fled and remains at large.
The driver was treated for a stab wound to the shoulder at Methodist Hospital.
Under New York State law, assaulting an MTA employee is a felony.
