Attorney Charged With Operating Massive Immigration-Fraud Mill Out of Manhattan Law Firm
NEW YORK — Federal prosecutors have extradited a suspended attorney who graduated from Brooklyn Law School back to the city, charging him with operating a Manhattan law firm that submitted at least 20,000 false immigration applications.
Preet Bharara, the United States Attorney for the Southern District of New York, announced this week the extradition of Earl Seth David, a.k.a. “Rabbi Avrahom David,” from Canada to face charges of conspiracy to commit immigration fraud, conspiracy to make false statements to immigration authorities, conspiracy to commit mail and wire fraud, and conspiracy to commit money laundering.
