Good morning. Today is the 94^th day of the year. On this day in 1968, the film 2001: A Space Odyssey by Stanley Kubrick made its premiere. The film was written by science-fiction novelist Arthur C. Clarke and starred Krie Dullea, Williams Sylvester, Gary Lockwood and Daniel Richter. Several of its predictions came true – for example, it describes a space station and shows a crewmember reading the news on an electronic news pad.
