Judge Sylvia Hinds-Radix expected to take helm
REMSEN STREET — Tonight the Brooklyn Women’s Bar Association (BWBA) will elect its new officers, board members and state delegates.
Voting on the proposed slate will take place at a meeting of the general membership tonight, at 5:30 p.m., at the Brooklyn Bar Association Meeting Hall at 123 Remsen St. in Brooklyn Heights.
Attorney Lisa Schreibersdorf, the current BWBA president and chairperson of the 2012 BWBA Nominating Committee, has submitted for approval the following persons for officers and board members:

The members of the Nominating Committee were Elaine N. Avery, Hon. Nancy Bannon, Meredith Lusthaus, Barbara Grcevic and Lisa Schreibersdorf.
In regard to the umbrella organization, the Women’s Bar Association of the State of New York (WBASNY), the association’s president-elect, Maureen Maney, will automatically succeed to the position of president on June 1.
The WBASNY Nominations Committee, consisting of representatives of every chapter, including the BWBA, has nominated the following slate (with chapter affiliation noted) for the remaining officer positions for the 2012-2013 term:
