After a dispute with his landlord, the famous Cake Man Raven has closed his bakery shop on Fulton Street in Fort Greene. According to several online reports, the baker, whose real name is Raven Dennis, had been paying $3,000 a month, but his landlord attempted to raise his rent to more than $5,000. Dennis, who is most famous for his red velvet cake and has baked for celebrities such as Bill Cosby, Mary J. Blige and Jay-Z, now plans to open to smaller bakeries in Downtown Brooklyn and in Harlem.
