Do you know a talented child singer who wants to perform at the 2012 US Open Tennis Championships in Flushing Meadows this summer? The United States Tennis Association (USTA) is seeking kids 12 years of age or younger to audition to sing a patriotic song live at Arthur Ashe Stadium during the night sessions of the Open.

USTA will host its sixth annual US Open Casting Call on Tuesday, June 19, 9 a.m.–2 p.m. at Harlem’s Apollo Theater, 253 West 125th Street. Kids will be asked to sing a cappella (without music) all, or a portion, of “America the Beautiful.”

The 2012 US Open will take place Aug. 27–Sept. 9. More information at http://www.usopen.org/Casting_Call/
