The Catholic Lawyers Guild of Brooklyn held a Christmas celebration and unveiled a creche in Columbus Park, adjacent to the Supreme Courthouse at 360 Adams St., on Thursday night, Dec. 12.
Joseph Rosato, president of the group, spoke briefly, Christmas music played in the background, and all present shared holiday cheer despite the cold outside. Later, the group went to Caffe Buon Gusto on nearby Montague Street for food and drinks. All in all, about 125 people took part in the celebration.
The Brooklyn Bar Association Foundation filled the Brooklyn Bridge Marriott’s Grand Ballroom again Monday evening, as it does each year, and packed the dais with brilliant speakers and dignitaries from the legal community.
