Chris Noth, famed for his roles in “Law & Order” and “Sex and the City,” plans to play former Brooklyn District Attorney Charles Hynes in a new independent film, according to the Daily News.
The movie is based on the case of 19-year-old Fairfield University honor student and star football player Mark Fisher, who was shot dead at a party in Ditmas Park, Brooklyn, in 2003. At an Upper East Side bar, Fisher had met several people who took him to the party in Brooklyn. Later, police responded to reports of gunfire and found Fisher’s body nearby. Two young neighborhood men, John Giuca and Anthony Russo, were arrested and sentenced to life in prison.
Last month, Giuca’s attorney filed a petition for review, charging prosecutorial misconduct, according to the Daily News article.
