Community Council Holds Its Annual Photo Contest

Bay Ridge — If you love to take pictures, the Bay Ridge Community Council has good news for you!

The council is sponsoring its annual photography contest and is looking for entries from amateur photographers.

The theme of the contest is "People and Places." There are separate categories for students and adults.

All entrants must live, work, or attend school in Bay Ridge, Dyker Heights, or Fort Hamilton, or be a member of a Bay Ridge Community Council organization.

Students may submit any size photo they wish. Adults must send a photo 4 by 6 inches or larger.

On the back of the photo the contestant must write their name, addresS, phone number, e-mail address (if possible), date and location of the event, contest level, school name and grade (if applicable).

Send photos to: BRCC Photo Contest, c/o McLaughlin and Sons, 9620 Third Ave., Brooklyn, N.Y. 11209.

All entries must be received by March 5. The annual awards ceremony honoring the contest’s winners will take place on March 27.
