Coney Island's B&B Carousel is among 40 sites competing for a share of a $3 million grant from the National Trust for Historic Preservation. The trust is asking the public to vote online for their favorite site; each of the top four vote-getters will get their full grant request — up to $250,000. Winners of the vote — at partnersinpreservation.com — will be announced May 22.
