Authorities are looking for the suspects who set four puppies and a dog on fire.

The dead animals were found in a bag on 91st Street near Ditmas Avenue in Canarsie area near a beverage distribution warehouse.

The ASPCA says the dogs were pit bulls or pit bull mixes.

Initially, authorities said a total of four dogs were found dead. Further investigation revealed an additional puppy.

A surveillance video caught a van arriving at at the warehouse after midnight Saturday. Several men got out carrying a large garbage bag, setting it on fire near a trash bin and then driving off.

It's not clear if the animals were alive or dead when they were set on fire.

The ASPCA asks anyone with information to call 1-877-843-2772.
