A Park Slope couple who hosted a self-help radio show committed suicide by suffocating themselves with helium and plastic bags, leaving suicide notes behind that told of bipolar disorder, according to the New York Post.
Lynne Rosen, 46, and her husband John Littig, 48, appeared on WBAI-FM’s “The Pursuit of Happiness.”
“I can’t take it anymore, my wife is so sick. She’s in too much pain. Please bury us together,” Littig wrote, according to the Post.
The building manager at their home on President Street and Eighth Avenue discovered the couple dead after neighbors complained about a foul smell coming from their apartment.
According to their page on the WBAI website, the show “focuses on personal development and growth, and features interviews with inspirational guests.” Both are described as life coaches and consultants.
