Officials say dozens of people were injured when a car being chased by police went through a stop sign and collided with an MTA bus in Brooklyn.

It happened just after 4:30 p.m. Monday near Herkimer Street and Albany Avenue.

Police say officers in an unmarked car had stopped a black Camaro and observed a gun on the front seat.

The Camaro then sped away, crashing into a B15 bus after going through the stop sign.

Police say the driver and a passenger in the car were listed in stable condition and taken into custody.

Police say 37 people on the bus suffered minor injuries.
