Festival and concert in Williamsburg to benefit Camp Brooklyn

“Family Fun on the Williamsburg Pier” – a rockin’ outdoor family entertainment festival – will take place on Sunday, June 3rd from noon-6 p.m. at CitiStorage on North 11th Street and Kent Avenue, on the pier overlooking the East River. The event will benefit the Camp Brooklyn Fund, a non-profit organization that sends low-income Brooklyn kids to sleep-away camp.

The festival features amusement rides like a Ferris wheel and bouncey castle, BBQ food, Brooklyn Brewery beer, cotton candy, Italian ices and ice cream by Uncle Louie G’s and more.

The Frolic! Rock Fest, a free concert hosted by Frolic! – Williamsburg’s new rock ‘n’ roll play space for children – featuring continuous live music and entertainment on the main stage. The line-up includes Little Rock-its by Frolic! with Tim Kubart of Tim and the Space Cadets, AudraRox, Suzi Shelton, Larry g(EE), Topsy Bonsai and the Tangs featuring Tracy Bonham, Maracatu NY, and DJ sets by Wyllys.

Activities also include rock ‘n’ roll inspired activities such as a tattoo station, face painting, and drum circle.

Brooklyn Borough President Marty Markowitz says, “Kudos to CitiStorage, Frolic!, Brooklyn Bowl, and all the other great partners who are coming together to make ‘Family Fun on the Williamsburg Pier’ an extraordinary and memorable event for Brooklyn and for an organization very near and dear to me: Camp Brooklyn, which provides a transformative summer sleep-away camp experience for hundreds of deserving kids each year.”
