The Food Bank For New York City is calling for volunteers to help out at its network of 1,000 pantries and kitchens throughout the five boroughs.

Many New Yorkers cannot afford to purchase food and supplies to last through the emergency. Those interested in helping the Food Bank and its network of 1,000 pantries and kitchens throughout the five boroughs should visit the Food Bank’s website at www.foodbanknyc.org and register as a volunteer. Donations are also highly encouraged and can be done online at the website or by texting FBNYC to 50555.
