Forum: How to Apply to Public Elementary School
The Center for New York City Affairs and the New York City Council are sponsoring a forum about how to apply to New York City elementary schools on Tuesday, Feb. 7, 2012, 6 p.m. – 8 p.m.
Join education author Clara Hemphill, the staff of Insideschools.org and other experts with answers to your questions about what to look for in an elementary school; how and when to register; gifted and talented programs; special education; English as a second language; and charter schools. Invited guest: City Council Speaker Christine C. Quinn.
The forum takes place at the Theresa Lang Community & Student Center, 55 W. 13th St. (between Fifth and Sixth avenues), 2nd floor. Admission is free but you must RSVP; email [email protected].
