Workers could be seen Tuesday morning in the rectangular base of a new “pop-up pool” rising on the uplands of Pier 2 in Brooklyn Bridge Park. According to the Brooklyn Bridge Park Conservancy, the pool will include a beach, a deck, food and drink concessions, picnic tables, and showers and restrooms when it opens in July.
