Silverback sighting: Passersby can catch a glimpse of this life-sized gorilla made out of foil at the front desk of the LAND Studio & Gallery at 67 Front Street in DUMBO. LAND (a program of the League Education and Treatment Center) is a studio for gifted artists with disabilities. The foil gorilla is one of only four or five in existence by LAND artist Dean Millien, and is for sale for $2,000. The gallery welcomes visitors Monday – Friday from 8:30 a.m. – 2 p.m. and Saturday from 11 a.m. – 6 p.m. More at landgallery.org or call 917-670-9322.
