Healthcare exchanges are topic of panel at St. Joseph’s College

The Healthcare Administration Department at St. Joseph’s College’s Brooklyn Campus will hold a panel discussion on the new healthcare exchanges enacted by New York state as part of the Affordable Care Act on Wednesday, Sept. 25 at 7 p.m. in the Tuohy Hall Auditorium. 

This event, created in partnership with Assemblyman Walter Mosley and Health Republic Insurance of New York, is free and open to the public.

This panel will be moderated by Dr. Lauren Pete, Ph.D, J.D., chair of the health administration department at St. Joseph’s College and will feature the following experts:
* Dr. Edward Anselm, medical director, Health Republic Insurance of New York.
* Elizabeth Vega-Lebron, director of member outreach and engagement, Health Republic Insurance of NY.
* Sara Rothstein, director of policy, New York State Department of Health.
* Flor Ramirez,  director, Healthcare Access Program, Retail Action Project.
