Heights Association Meeting To Feature Restaurant Critic

The New York Times’ former restaurant critic Sam Sifton will examine Brooklyn’s burgeoning restaurant scene as the featured speaker at the upcoming annual public meeting of the Brooklyn Heights Association, to be held Wednesday, February 22, 7:30 p.m., in the St. Francis College Founders Hall, 180 Remsen Street.

Also on the program will be the customary assessment of local issues and progress by the association’s president, currently Jane McGroarty, and the nomination of new members of its board of governors, as well as the presentation of community service awards.  

Those nominated to the board for the class of 2015 are: Kerith J. Aronow, Neil Calet, Meredith Hamilton, Christopher Neville, Alexandra H. Russello, Susan Shepard, and Christopher Wright.
