More than 200 people attended the 2012 Building Brooklyn Awards presentation and reception at the Liberty Warehouse in Red Hook last week on July 12.

According to Lori Raphael, director of external affairs for the Brooklyn Chamber of Commerce, sponsor of the annual event, “it was among the Chamber’s most successful to date.”

“The waterfront venue at the new Liberty Warehouse, paired with a full house of industry leaders from across Brooklyn’s real estate and development field made for an incredible evening,” she told the Eagle yesterday.

“We were extraordinarily pleased by the high caliber of all of our awarded projects and thank the teams for their contribution to the community,” she said of the 12 winning projects.

Helping Raphael to organize the reception were Caroline Pardo of Two Trees Management Co., chairperson, along with Real Estate and Development (RED) Committee co-chairs Chris Havens and Susan Doban.
