The holidays are here. Hotels in Manhattan are expensive. Nowadays, more and more tourists are flocking to Brooklyn for the vacancies and the cheap prices.

With cheaper prices and just a short Subway ride away, more and more people are coming to Brooklyn for the holiday season, as USA Today reports. Nearly 10 percent of the 28,150 hotel rooms added to the five boroughs since 2008 are in Brooklyn, and the story pointed out that people often have better views of the Manhattan skyline in Brooklyn than in the actual city itself.

With cheaper prices to build in the outer boroughs, tourists and builders alike are benefitting from Brooklyn.
